Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons
We are the Girl Scouts: over 11,000 girls and adults across South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa who believe every girl can change the world.
We prioritize meeting girls where they are to do something amazing. As a part of the largest girl-led organization in the world, Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons reaches girls in more than 955 cities, towns, and communities. Our geography spans 164,000 square miles and includes 13 Native American Reservations and three Air Force bases. Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons is there to support girls in grades K-12 as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges.
Whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike, fight food insecurity in their community, or make their first best friend, Girl Scouts supports them.
For more than a century, Girl Scouts has championed changemakers, building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. We support and affirm girls of every background and economic circumstance as they use their voices to create a future that benefits us all.
